Today is a memorable day, a date that many families have waited for with great desire: to have legal certainty (deeds) for the land they reside on and where their children and grandchildren will continue to live in Quintana Roo where the future is promising.

Jesus & burro go down the malecon
Jesús recorrió el malecón en burro+] Ver mas
Wenceslao Trejo Martínez went down the Rueda Medina boardwalk on a burrow representing the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, marking the beginning of Holy Week, with Palm Sunday, accompanied by the actors who will re enact the Viacrusis this Friday, to represent the passion, ordeal, and death of our Savior. At 9:30am the procession of the house of God went down the malecon, toward the light house by Posada del Mar beach and returning to the Church. More than  500 people participated, including representations of the 12 apostles, the priests of sanedrin, and the people followed, when they returned to the church, there was a small representation of when Jesus encountered Mary Magdalene, whom the people wanted to stone for adultery, and the famous message was delivered" let he who is without sin cast the first stone". After the representations, there was the blessing of the palms, and then the mass. The next activity will be the celebration of the Last Supper, on the town square on Thursday at 7pm, before the crucifixion on Friday. The washing of His feet will be held in two of the Island chapels and there will be two performances of the Stations of the Cross/Passion of Christ on Friday with the first in La Gloria from 10a to noon, and the main presentation (#23) will depart from the Guadalupe Chapel, to walk to Immaculate Conception church (downtown on the square), with about 5000 parishioners expected to participate.
