The event is free and the public is invited, while all the tables have been sold with proceeds going to the DIF social service agency for the benefit of the elderly, disabled, and vulnerable families. This event is expected to exceed the previous celebrations, and is attended by a large number of tourists, as well as islanders. The other event in which both groups participate is the welcoming of the first rays of the sun to the coast of Mexico, where Isla Mujeres is touched first, which has become an island tradition.
