Hotel occupancy is holding at 40 percent in this off season, with support from tourists from Canada, UK, Spain, Argentina, and Venezuela, reported the director of Tourism. This is an increase from a week ago when occupancy was at 25-30 percent. The advantage with international tourists is they usually stay five to seven days. Incentive offers, promotions, and packages are encouraging some people to visit, even some "Honeymooners". The low season is expected to continue until late November.
