Today, Isla Mujeres continues to report a total of 272 cases with 25 deaths and 226 recovered. For February 11th, the state Geoportal continues to report 6 active cases in Isla Mujeres as: Meteorologcio-3, Salina Grande-1, Amp la Gloria-1, and colonia 006-1.

From the City (Ayuntamiento de Isla Mujeres)

The DIF social service agency received the delivery of electrolyte beverages in advance of the upcoming season of higher temperatures when they will be available for the more vulnerable members of the community on the island and on the mainland, to prevent dehydration. There was a 'symbolic' delivery of 37 cases, with more to be delivered. Residents are reminded that during hot weather they should avoid long hours of exposure to the sun, especially when it is strong, they should drink an abundant amount of water and wear light clothing.

Free pet sterilization continues to be available on Thursdays at the Isla Animals clinic, with one owner accompanying the animal following C-19 protocols.

Use antibacterial gel to disinfect your hands

Follow hygiene protocols to avoid contagion of C-19
