The municipal Department of Sports and Physical Culture is conducting physical fitness classes at the Blue Dome, with C-19 preventative protocols and capacity limited to about 15 islanders, Monday-Friday 6:30p-8p. The department director Oswaldo González Barredo said that it is a priority of this administration to involve the children and youth of the island in activities that are beneficial to their physical and mental health, such as different types of sports. He said various sports activities are available for the young people of the island, in accordance with the Orange status of the state epidemiological light, and he noted that free boxing classes are available on the island and in the Continental Zone.
