The freezers of the cooperatives are full of ice, but there is not a single fish, since the fishermen have been unable to work for the past five days. On Sunday, when the port was open for small boats, most of the fishermen went out to collect their lobster traps, since the season ended February 28th. Those who were fishing brought in at best 40 kilograms per boat, and that was sold promptly. Another 'norte' is expected by Friday which could close the port for small boats for several days. The port may be open for general navigation on Thursday, depending on the conditions.
