A spectacular and colorful night on Friday at Isla Mujeres Carnaval "World Stage" when Mayor Agapito Magana Sanchez crowned the Kings and Queens for the 2016 celebrations.
Una noche espectacular y colorida se vivió la noche de este viernes en el Carnaval Isla Mujeres "El Escenario del Mundo" en la que el presidente municipal Agapito Magaña Sánchez coronó a los soberanos de esta edición 2016.


Mayor Agapito Magana Sanchez held a meeting with members of the the dive shop tourism industry regarding concerns about foreign businesses, alleging they are working without proper permits or documents. The Mayor is committed to working together toward solving this problem.
El presidente municipal, Agapito Magaña Sánchez, sostuvo un acercamiento con prestadores de servicios turísticos del ramo de tiendas de buceo pioneras, quienes tienen una inquietud respecto a ciertas empresas extranjeras; algunas de ellas sin permisos, que las están desplazando.
El alcalde se comprometió a encontrar una solución a este problema junto con el sector.

Stroll five minutes southward down the coastal sidewalk to Mango Cafe, Bahama Mama, Brisas, or Manolitos. Walk less than 10 minutes southwest to shop at Chedraui or to dine at Green Verde, Kash Kechen Chuc, or other options. Visit marinas, bars, & beach clubs that are minutes away by bike or on foot. Our guests recommend the Yoga classes a couple villas away at hotelito Casa Ixchel. Fresh juice, produce & tortillas a few blocks away in the village, as well as a variety of other stores and small local restaurants.
