Video interview by IM Noticias with the official explaining that alcohol sales will only be allowed in Isla Mujeres to foreign tourists at businesses that are also selling food on Saturday and on Sunday (Starting at 00 Saturday and ending at 00 hours Monday). He said this includes convenience stores/minisupers, bars & cantinas, but they must have a license for selling food, and can only sell alcohol to foreign tourists. He says the boats such as the catamarans do not have a regular food menu and cannot offer alcohol. He notes there will be a special ballot box for Mexican tourists to vote. He says the minimum to maximum fines for businesses who violate this law are 50,000-80,000 pesos. https://www.facebook.com/IMNOTICIA/videos/443021489442557/
