Medical evacuation by the Navy of a man with abdominal pain  LINK
March 24  Yesterday the Navy carried out a medical evacuation of a male person of Philippine nationality from the vessel "PROVALYS", which was flying a French flag. Personnel from the Naval Search Rescue and Maritime Surveillance Unit were dispatched, who located the vessel 7.5 nautical miles (11 kilometers) east of Isla Mujeres. The patient received medical attention during his transfer and was taken to an ambulance of a private hospital in Cancun.
With these actions, the Navy-Armada of Mexico, as the National Maritime Authority, reaffirms its commitment to the citizenry to safeguard human life at sea.
