Both
Zones remain in Green status on the state Semaforo thru March 20th. The
Contagion Rate has remained between 0.5-0.8, with graph-curves
descending, since each infected person is infecting less than one other
person. The municipalities are at "practically zero" new cases. Isla
Mujeres leads the state with a decrease of 100% and is at practically
zero. Hospital Occupancy is less than 1% and there is only one C19
patient on a ventilator in the state. None of the graphs have increases,
but we should still keep up our guard and follow protocols. Starting
Monday, all the schools will be operating at 100%.
Booster
shots will be available for residents Monday thru Thursday, as well as
second doses, at the Bicentennial Dome in colonia La Gloria, from 8a to
4p. The graphic has the specific information.
Today, Saturday....
Today and tomorrow, Aguakan is working to resolve an obstruction in the tap-water line that comes from the elevated tank, which passes thru Conti street at the intersection of Calle 1 and goes to the road to Garrafon. Due to this work the following colonias could experience outages or low pressure: La Gloria, Miraflores, Cañotal, Lol Be, Caridad del Cobre, Sac Bajo, Punta Sur, Talleres, Vista Alegre, Mar Turquesa, La Guadalupana and FOVISSSTE.
The workers will be inspecting and repairing the line to solve this problem which has affected service in multiple neighborhoods: Cañotal, Lol Be, Miraflores, Caridad del Cobre, Punta Sur and Sac Bajo.
The work is being done from 8a to 3p both days, which includes detecting the obstructed point and replacing it. The company recommends that residents take the necessary measures and heed the instructions given by the work crews in this area. With this work, Aguakan seeks to increase service and optimize the tap-water distribution service, in response to the needs of the populace.
