New controversy
Se arma nueva polémica[+] Ver mas
There is controversy over plans to hold a dance at the blue dome of the Habitat Plaza in la Gloria Saturday night, because some say that is not a usage that was meant for this property. There is no specific ban on dancing, although it is clear that the agenda of the Habitat Program has an objective of improving the quality of life for the inhabitants of the Habitat area, to promote health, sports, culture, and training. The three levels of government "have an obligation to eradicate vices", which is why it is allegedly forbidden to authorize permits for dances inside the dome, and the sale of beer is not allowed. A neighbor recalled that on one occasion,  that a Carnaval event was moved to the blue dome due to weather problems, but no alcohols was allowed to be sold. This is part of the national operating rules of these spaces, which come under the responsibility of the Habitat Program, which was formerly within the agency SEDESOL, and now under SEDATU, who provided the financing and the requirements. Some of these rules are listed in the article.  The dome was built in 2009.
On the Facebook page of former local legislator Concepcion Armeta it says there will be a grand dance (baile popular) at the Bicentennial Dome with the band Zaci playing, from Valladolid, on Saturday at 10:30pm.
