Congratulations to all the winners of the Fourth Edition of the International Women's Fishing Tournament "La Dorada del Caribe"!

For us it was an honor to be part of this great celebration!

# IslaMujeres🌴 remains a benchmark for international sports events, and proof of this is the success of the International Women's Sport Fishing Tournament "La Dorada del Caribe" which attracted fishermen from different parts of Mexico , United States and Canada.

In #IslaMujeres we value and promote the artistic development of the community, so every Sunday we present  "Noches Mágicas", an ideal place for all island families to share quality time.

If you come to # IslaMujeres🌴 on vacation be sure to bring a souvenir🎁 to your family or friends! The artisans of the island are waiting for you with their best pieces,

The police have installed a module on Playa Centro to directly assist those who need help or report to strangers who are prowling this and other points frequented by tourists.  "The determination was made to install this police module due (to a rumored case of theft of tourist property and) to increase of visitors. It aims to improve police presence and the consequent safety of tourists, " said excomandante Agustín White. He admitted that this is due to the fact that in recent days the number of cases of theft of belongings of tourists who go to bathe on the beaches has increased  and they want to prevent further cases.
At least half a dozen tourist police are distributed along the Playa Centro and Play Norte to monitor the area, in addition, it appears that there are hidden police officers who are on the lookout for potential offenders who advantage of swimmers who neglect to take care of their belongings.
