Not much translation needed... at 2 mins he recommends the restaurant by Ixchel hotel w. breakfast for 65 pesos, then to Punta Sur & the Mayan Ruin, where sunrise first touches Mexico. They say the isle is safe, friendly and more laid back than Cancun, where you can have incomparable and unforgettable experiences. The title translation is "It it worth it to visit Isla Mujeres in 2019?"

The City invites youths born in 2001 to participate in required military drawing, with those who haven't done it yet, on Sunday at 8am at the City Council room.

VIDEO The municipal Director of Transportation says the bus service should begin operating by the 15th of the month & definitely before December, using Microbuses with a capacity for ~25 people. He didn't mention the fare, noting the ten units will have air conditioning & the front seats will be for those who are elderly, pregnant or have disabilities. The route was already announced going South on Medina, East on Paseo Peces in La Gloria, North on the Caribe Coastal Road, West to Medina by the runway & North to the Fishermen's Monument.

The municipal Director of Transportation, Mario Carrillo, said the urban transportation service on the island will begin by the 10th to 15th of this month, with a maximum of ten microbuses, equipped with air conditioning and GPS. The microbuses will have a capacity for 25 people and will be suitable for people with disabilities.There will be two types of bus stops on the island, and there could be a slight delay between the start of the bus service and their installation, but that should be completed before December.First they will install the eleven that are "Sombra"-type ("shaded"), with a pergola & seating. The other, individual bus stops will consist of vertical signs indicating where to expect the bus.

Although municipal traffic regulations prohibit placement of cones and other objects that obstruct the public road, this has become common practice in Isla Mujeres, reducing the parking spaces. Visit marinas, bars, & beach clubs that are minutes away by bike or on foot. Attend Yoga classes a couple villas away at Casa Ixchel. Fresh juice, produce & tortillas a few blocks away in the village, as well as a variety of other stores. It takes 20-30 minutes to walk downtown.

The Festival for the Town Saint, Our Lady of Immaculate Conception will begin sometime around the weekend of Friday, Nov. 28 and continue thru her day on Dec. 8th. There is usually a Cabalgata parade of horses and a "bullring" set up (bullfights have been banned in Mexico), where there are rodeos and comedic bullfights, as well as folklorico dance performances and a night or two of live music & dancing on the Town Square.
