International Women's Day will be celebrated on March 8 at Rancho Viejo on the mainland, where the City and the Ministry of Health have organized a Health Fair for Women offering gynecological consults, general medical consults, breast exams, referrals for mammograms, pap smears, screenings for HPV, information about vasectomies, providing folic acid, contraception services, and others.  

Este martes 8 de marzo, para celebrar el Día Internacional de la Mujer, el Ayuntamiento y la Secretaría de Salud organizaron una mega jornada médica con la finalidad de fomentar y promover la salud de las mujeres del municipio.
En el Centro Comunitario de Rancho Viejo, a partir de las 9 de la mañana, se brindarán consultas ginecológicas; consultas médicas general; exploraciones clínicas de mama; referencias a mastografías; tamizajes de citología cervical; tamizajes de virus de papiloma humano; promoción de vasectomía; entrega de ácido fólico y entrega de métodos anticonceptivos, entre otros.

Fine dining a few steps away at Da Luisa or try the traditional neighborhood eateries a couple blocks farther. Stroll five minutes southward down the coastal sidewalk to Mango Cafe, Bahama Mama, Brisas, or Manolitos. Walk less than 10 minutes southwest to shop at Chedraui or to dine at Green Verde, Kash Kechen Chuc, or other options. Visit marinas, bars, & beach clubs that are minutes away by bike or on foot. Our guests recommend the Yoga classes a couple villas away at hotelito Casa Ixchel. Fresh juice, produce & tortillas a few blocks away in the village, as well as a variety of other stores and small local restaurants.
